Allen Engineering Corporation was founded in 1964. The company has always been involved in the concrete business: first as a ready-mix concrete producer, then as a concrete contractor, and finally as a concrete equipment manufacturer.

Today, Allen Engineering is the designer, manufacturer and marketer of Razorback® Screeds, Walk-Behind Trowels, Material Spreaders, Riding Trowels, Power Sprayers,Green Concrete Saws, and Allen® Hand Tools. Each piece of Allen Razorback® Equipment is specifically designed to improve concrete floor flatness and levelness (as measured by F Numbers).

Allen Engineering has maintained a leading role in the evolution of high tolerance concrete floors in the U.S. and around the world. Allen is the only manufacturer of concrete equipment with a sales force certified in the operation of the FACE® Dipstick (an instrument for measuring the flatness and levelness of floors).
