Parts Specialist

RMS Rentals is searching for a Parts Specialist to join its team at its Savage, MN, location. In this role, you will be responsible for all warehouse daily procedures, including but not limited to shipping and receiving, stocking shelves, picking orders, arranging shipping, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for all incoming phone and web parts requests.
  • Research parts solutions for customers – used, new surplus and aftermarket solutions.
  • Process sales orders and returns.
  • Utilize company, vendor, and industry resources to constantly grow knowledge of machines and their applicable parts.
  • Assist customers looking for hard-to-find parts utilizing various resources.
  • Responsible for effectively creating and processing transfer orders and creating/ receiving vendor purchase orders.
  • In addition to the above stated major responsibilities, various special projects may also be assigned.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • High school Diploma preferred.
  • Computer skills and the ability to use multiple software programs to perform daily tasks.
  • Experience with parts sales – construction equipment parts experience is a plus but not required.
  • Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
  • Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
  • Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.

Territory Manager

RMS Rentals is searching for a Territory Manager to join its team at its Savage, MN, location. In this role, you will be responsible for representing the top manufacturers to an existing customer base and develop new customers in your designated territory. You will be responsible for generating profitable business from a vast fleet of construction equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Call on future and existing customers on behalf of the largest rental company in the region that provides LULL telehandlers, aerial equipment, ground-engaging concrete finishing, and portable air and power.
  • Maintain a CRM database on all the customers within the territory.
  • Prospecting and closing opportunities with an existing territory.
  • Provide customers with an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 4-year college degree.
  • 1-3 years outside sales experience in construction related equipment, rentals or sales.
  • Construction equipment knowledge or related equipment including concrete equipment is a plus.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Negotiation, problem solving, and planning skills.
  • Able to work responsibly, safely, and intelligently.
  • Have the desire to take action, improve, and be appreciative.
  • Possess the capability to engage with customers, co-workers, and vendors in a respectful manner.

Shop Service & LeeBoy Paver Technician

RMS Rentals is seeking a Shop Service & LeeBoy Paver Technician to join its facility located in Savage, MN. Technical trade school and three (3) years’ experience in hydraulics and electrical circuit troubleshooting are preferred. Small engine and light repair working knowledge is necessary, as well as experience repairing off road fork and boom lifts. Possession of basic tools is strongly recommended.
